Water Ski Information
Membership in the Sunset Lakes Water Ski Club is open to residents of Sunset Lakes. Guests are permitted and there is some reciprocity between the members of Southwood Lakes Water Ski Club and Sunset Lakes Water Ski Club. For Sunset Lakes
Membership Fees
$200.00 per individual plus $150.00 for each additional member from the same household.
Rates:
Children $3.00 per pass ($18.00 per set)
Adults $4.00 per pass ($24.00 for a 6 pass set)
The Southwood Lake Water Ski Club is open to residents and non-residents alike, however at the present time, it is limited to ten family members. There is a refundable initiation fee of $6,000.00 and an annual family membership fee of $200 per year.
Learn to Waterski Wednesdays 2024
Last Wednesday night, July 3rd kicked off Sunset Lakes Water Ski Club’s first Learn to Waterski Wednesday of the year with a fantastic turnout! Despite the rain, 21 kids hit the water, impressively, nearly half of them were first-time skiers.
A big thank you goes out to the volunteers: Lesley, Bill, Rodney, Zuzanna, and Jess, who helped make the event possible.
Another exciting Waterski Wednesday is planned this Wednesday, July 10th, at Southwood Lake’s 6850 Suncrest Drive. A reminder that the event is free and open to everyone, with all necessary equipment provided. 2016 Community Ski Nights

Southwood Lake Recreation Association and the Sunset Lakes Water Ski Club will be holding 4 free ski nights for the neighbourhood to come out and learn how to ski. No pre-enrollment required; these ski nights run on a first come, first serve basis from 6-8:30pm on the following dates:
Wednesday, July 7th, 2016 @ Sunset Lake
Wednesday, July 14th, 2016 @ Sunset & Southwood Lake
Wednesday, July 21th, 2016 @ Southwood Lake
Wednesday, July 28th, 2016 @ Sunset & Southwood Lake
Each participant is required to fill out an insurance waiver form. Please come early to fill these out or bring your completed adult or family waiver form!
