Membership & Prices

Membership in the Sunset Lakes Water Ski Club is open to residents of Sunset Lakes. Guests are permitted and there is some reciprocity between the members of Southwood Lakes Water Ski Club and Sunset Lakes Water Ski Club. For Sunset Lakes Water Ski Club, no initiation fee is required and a family membership is $200 per season.The Southwood Lake Water Ski Club is open to residents and non residents alike, however at the present time it is limited to ten family members. There is a refundable initiation fee of $6,000.00 and an annual family membership fee of $200 per year.

Rides will be charged on a cost recovery basis. The cost per ride is $20 for members and $40 for non members.

  • A ride is defined as six (6) passes or falls or a combination of the two, approximately ten (10) minutes.
  • The club provides towropes and skis, as well as maintains a record capability slalom course with an automated timing system and a beginner slalom course.
  • All participants (parent or guardian, if under eighteen (18) years of age) must sign a Water Ski Canada Waiver form prior to skiing.
