Thanks to Bob Stanley for these photos!!

Bill Murbach (Men’s IV) of Petersburg, Michigan, starts a sensational comeback year with a score of 1 @ 11.25 metres. Later in the summer of 1999, Bill would take 3rd place at the U.S. Midwest Regionals.

Local skier, Scott Marshall, is on his way to tying the Men’s IV Canadian National Slalom Record with this performance.

David MacMillan (Men’s IV) of McVille, North Dakota, demonstrates his textbook slalom style and scores a tournament best of 2-1/2 @ 10.75 metres. Later in the summer of 1999, Dave would win the National Regionals and take silver at the U.S. Nationals.

Dave MacMillan (McVille, North Dakota) casts himself wide and early, waiting for the turn buoy. In the background, a Victorian-style home, featured in Ottawa Living Magazine, provides a splendid background for the waterfront scenery.
